美国贝勒大学医学院整合生物信息学助理博士后职位
Postdoc position is available at Wang laboratory. The individual will join our integrative bioinformatics initiatives aimed at discovering cancer genes and targets from next generation sequencing and high-throughput genomics data, and will be responsible for the development of novel analyses and bioinformatics tools to analyze whole-genome sequencing and RNAseq data, as well as to integrate other cancer genomics datasets. The main focus of our projects will be discovering driving genetic aberrations and therapeutic targets in breast cancer from next-generation sequencing data. We are looking for highly motivated applicant who has a strong background and hands-on experience in next-generation sequencing data analysis and integrative bioinformatics.
The Wang laboratory is a cancer genomics and molecular targeting lab at Lester & Sue Smith Breast Center and Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center, Baylor College of Medicine. The long-term goal of this lab is to apply a multiple disciplinary approach inclusive of bioinformatics, genomics, molecular and cell biology, and preclinical studies to detect driving genetic aberrations and qualify viable cancer targets on the basis of high-throughput biotechnologies.
