以色列耶路撒冷希伯来大学细胞生物学方面博士后招聘
Postdoctoral fellow : Jerusalem, Israel
My lab (www.kaganovichlab.com) is looking to hire new postdocs and phd students to work on a range of projects at the cutting edge of investigations into the cell biology of protein folding quality control and aggregation. We work with yeast, cell culture, and worms. We are especially interested in recruiting someone with substantial experience working with yeast. Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry are also a plus.
A number of projects are available, including yeast genetics and cell biology projects investigating the mechanism and spatial regulation of protein folding quality control and aggregation; basic cell biology of protein movement in live cells; mechanisms of aggregate toxicity and aggregate management in yeast and human cell models; stress management in neurons in a C. elegans optogenetic/single-cell cell-biological model; as well as several other projects in disease models of ALS, Parkinson’s, MJD, and Alzheimer’s.
My lab has a state-of-the-art imaging set-up in house. We have a dual resonant scanning 4ms/frame confocal system which is optimized for 4D imaging, and a TIRF/structured illumination super-resolution microscope. We are also planning to build a single-plane illumination system which may be a project of interest for an engineering student….
Ideal postdoctoral candidates will have a strong publication records with at least one first author paper in a good journal, and will be candidates for external postdoctoral fellowships. If you are interested in doing a postdoc in the lab please provide letters of reference and a research proposal for a possible contribution to the main research directions of the lab. …
