The European Pancreas Center Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist
Description:
Within the NCT 3.0 program the project aims to develop novel strategies towards precision oncology for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The project builds on two approaches: First, identification of novel target genes associated with prognosis and therapy response by molecular characterization of pancreatic cancers in the context of long-term and short-term survival. Second, generation and validation of tumor-derived organoid cultures as personalized in vitro platform for drug-sensitivity testing.
We are looking for a postdoctoral scientist with hands-on experience in cancer molecular biology and complex in vitro cultures.
Your profile:
- PhD in the biomedical field plus at least 2 years of relevant postdoctoral experience
- Genuine motivation for translational cancer research
- Hands-on experience with primary & 3D cell cultures is a plus
- Experience with molecular biology (NGS) bioinformatics is a plus
- Experience in project management
- Excellent at the bench and at the desk
- Team player; good contact skills
- Good command of the English language

The position is limited to 2 years. The position can in principle be part-time.
