A full-time postdoc position working on HIV/AIDS research is available in the Molecular Imaging Laboratory, Department of Radiology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doc to lead immunology and virology related in vivo projects with emphasis on HIV. We are a multidisciplinary team funded by NIH using cutting edge in vivo imaging and virology techniques on humanized mouse models. The scope of the research is focused on HIV transmission, latency and drug resistance. Interested applicants must have experience in HIV research using molecular virology and immunology techniques. Additional experience with small animal handling is desired but not essential. This individual will work on HIV inoculation in mice, which requires confidence in handling infectious virus and viral injection.
