Post- Doctoral Position Summer 2015 – Chicago/ Neural Control of Metabolism
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available at Loyola University Chicago starting summer 2015 in a novel, dynamic and enthusiastic lab in the Cell and Molecular Physiology Department. The principal investigator seeks motivated candidates to study neural control of peripheral metabolism using neuronal primary cells, animal models and also proteomic approaches in a collaborative and multidisciplinary research department (proteomics, heart diseases, neuroscience, in vivo plus in vitro approaches).
Candidates must be familiar with standard molecular biology, biochemical techniques, as well as tissue culture. Previous experience characterizing mouse metabolic physiology is preferred but not essential.
Candidate must have earned a PhD or MD/PhD degree in a related field and is expected to stay at least 3 years.
