THE SECTION OF PULMONARY, CRITICAL CARE & SLEEP MEDICINE IS SEEKING OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUALS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATES

Yale School of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM), is looking to hire multiple Postdoctoral Research Associates. Successful candidates must have outstanding research skills and an advanced level of knowledge of molecular, cell biology, genomics, or other relevant areas of biomedical and translational research as well as proven experience in methods of molecular and cell biology. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Plan and conduct assigned and/or original research projects autonomously while working collaboratively with faculty, staff, post docs, and students. Maintain accurate records of research findings and the analysis of results. Prepare manuscripts for publication in collaboration with faculty and other lab members. Present research findings at professional meetings. Supervision of other research personnel and other related duties as required. . They are expected to make a significant contribution to the educational and research missions of the section. A successful candidate must a PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree and committed to a career in biomedical research in the area of pulmonary diseases, and be a permanent resident or a US citizens. Successful candidates will be part of the training program at PCCSM and will work in the laboratories of established Physician-Scientists who will serve as their mentors.
