Postdoctoral positions are available for candidates with a PhD and/or MD in the laboratory of Adam Schmitt at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This laboratory studies how long noncoding RNA regulate cellular stress responses and tumor formation. A combination of biochemistry, cellular biology, mouse genetics, and functional genomics are employed to identify and characterize long noncoding RNAs involved in these processes.

Successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology. Prior experience in computational biology or bioinformatics is desirable.
