Postdoctoral Associate (Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy)

Postdoctoral position in tumor immunology and immunotherapy.

Our Pediatric Urology Research Laboratory is seeking a highly self-motivated postdoctoral associate to investigate the genetics of congenital birth defects, including vesicoureteric reflux.

The successful candidate should have the ability to independently design and execute experiments, analyze data and troubleshoot experiments when they do not work. The selected candidate will meet periodically with the PI to discuss his/her results.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to write manuscripts, therefore candidates with good English reading/writing skills will be preferably considered.
Requires PhD and exceptionally strong background and practical skills in cellular immunology, molecular biology and animal models of cancer evidenced by a record of first-author publications in high-impact journals. Candidates are also required to have experience with design of cancer vaccine vectors, especially those based on attenuated strains of Salmonella.
