Job Description

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available immediately at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Applicants will investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating humoral immunity (see Genes Dev. 27:2439). Current NIH funded projects focus on the interface of chromatin conformation with gene expression and gene recombination and the functional implications of these events to humoral immunity. Highly motivated candidates holding a recent PhD of MD/PhD degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or Cell Biology are preferred. Preference will be given to those with strong communication skills, and have experience in the fields of immunology and molecular biology. Prior experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, and handling of small animals is desirable. Highly competitive salary and benefits are available and will be commensurate with experience.
