The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Miami has multiple opportunities available under the mentorship of Dr. Eli Gilboa.
Research in the Gilboa laboratory focuses on developing cell-targeted immune modulatory strategies using oligonucleotide aptamer drug and drug delivery platforms, including the development of novel high throughput sequencing-based aptamer isolation strategies.
Postdoctoral Associate - Cancer and HIV Immunotherapy #088888
Applicants with documented track record of high impact publications and extensive experimental background in preclinical cancer immunotherapy or HIV immunology studies will be considered. Experience in nucleic acid molecular biology is desirable.
Postdoctoral Associate - Oligonucleotide Aptamer Development #099999
Applicants, both at early and advanced postdoctoral stage with documented track record of extensive experimental background in advanced nucleic acid molecular biology techniques will be considered. Experience in aptamer development is desirable.
