We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join Wolf Reik’s lab at the Babraham and Sanger Institute (http://www.babraham.ac.uk/our-research/epigenetics/wolf-reik, www.sanger.ac.uk/research/faculty/wreik) in an interactive and collaborative environment with one of the largest Epigenetics and Nuclear Dynamics groupings in Europe.
This post is part of a Wellcome Trust Strategic Award which aims to trace cell fate decisions during mouse gastrulation by single cell genomics (http://www.wellcome.ac.uk/Funding/Biomedical-science/Funded-projects/Awards-made/Strategic-Awards/index.htm). You will be part of the Reik lab at Babraham and Sanger and collaborate with the Single Cell Genomics Centre and with a group of PIs whose expertise encompasses mouse embryology, single cell genomics and epigenomics, bioinformatics, and modeling.
Applicants will have a PhD in biological or computational sciences and experience in genomics, epigenomics, transcription, or developmental biology. For recent publications see Smallwood et al Nature Methods 2014, Lee et al Cell Stem Cell 2014, Ficz et al Cell Stem Cell 2013, Seisenberger et al Mol Cell 2012, Keniry et al Nature Cell Biol 2012, Booth et al Science 2012, Ficz et al Nature 2011.
The position is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is available for up to 3.5 years.
