Job description:

Post-doctoral position available at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School for a highly motivated, hard-working, independent individual in the area of transcriptional and epigenetic regulation. The ideal candidate should be a recent PhD or MD (2013/2014) with a graduate research background in genetic and epigenetic regulation of gene expression. Experience in techniques such as chromatin immunoprecipitation, sample preparation for ChIP-seq analysis, molecular cloning, cell culture, real time PCR, and western blotting is critical. Our laboratory is committed to basic biological as well as translational research at the exciting intersection of cancer genetics and preclinical therapeutic testing. The goal of our research is to define the molecular mechanisms underlying developmental cancers and to identify potential novel therapeutic targets through in-depth studies of chromatin modifications and transcription by RNA polymerase II.

Mon-Fri, some weekends, hours will vary
