A post-doctoral fellow position is available at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard in Boston (http://ragoninstitute.org/portfolio-item/porichis/ ). We seek a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with strong expertise on molecular biology and immunology to study the immunopathogenesis of HIV and Tuberculosis infections. The fellow will play a key role conducting patient-oriented translational research involving cutting-edge technologies, including transcriptional (RNASeq and miRNAome) and immunologic (CyTOF and Flow-FISH- http://www.ebioscience.com/knowledge-center/application/flowrna/scientist-spotlight.htm) profiling of T cell responses and in vitro manipulation of molecular networks to redirect T cell function.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D and/or M.D. with a solid background in Molecular Biology, cellular immunology, transcriptional profiling or miRNA profiling of immune cells is preferred. Knowledge of computational approaches with bioinformatics background is also preferred. Candidates should be highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment. They should have exceptional organizational skills and strong oral and written communications skills.

Job Duties:
**Under the direction of the principal investigator, the applicant will independently carry out activities performing laboratory research. Duties include:
• Guiding research projects through experimental design, conducting experiments, and analyzing data
• Maintaining detailed documentation of experimental work
• Presenting data within and outside of the laboratory group at meetings and symposia
• Maintaining close communications with PI regarding progress
• Writing, editing, and submitting manuscripts/abstracts detailing the results of the project
