美国耶鲁大学招收生物学博士后
Postdoctoral Scientist : New Haven, CT, United States
Postdoctoral Scientist: Rothman Lab at Yale University
Our lab at Yale University is working to elucidate the mechanism of membrane fusion by SNARE proteins and its regulation for neurotransmitter release in synaptic transmission. We take an interdisciplinary approach which includes cell-free biochemistry, single molecule biophysics, high-resolution optical imaging of single events/single molecules in cell and cell-free formats. Specifically, we are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with an expertise in single molecule imaging and tracking, including TIRF microscopy.
Candidate(s) must hold (or soon hope to hold) a Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering and a have a record of first author publication(s) using single molecule imaging techniques. Background in biochemistry, biophysics and membrane biology is desirable but not necessary. He/she must be capable of working independently and also, as part of a collaborative team.
Applicants should send CV and other relevant details to Leslie Gourlay via email: leslie.gourlay@yale.edu
