瑞士联邦理工学院微生物学、计算机学博士后职位
Our group has a long standing interest in the evolution of drug resistance. Most of our work is based on population dynamic / genetic modeling, but we are also doing experimental work on antibiotic resistance evolution. Position 1 and 2 are associated with using a liquid handling robotic platform to study antibiotic resistance evolution in vitro. Position 3 concerns mathematical modeling of within-host or epidemiological dynamics of emergence and spread of drug resistance.
Generally I am looking for people who have a high level of intellectual independence and are keen to take the driver’s seat in their research projects. In all positions there is considerable flexibility with regard to the specific research directions taken. A recent review relevant for all projects is zur Wiesch et al, Lancet Inf Dis,2011.
