Postdoctoral Position in Tumor Immunology.
A postdoctoral position funded by Ministry of Education (Singapore) is available for up to 3 years in a project to investigate the role of DNA sensors in cancer. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral research fellow to exploit our recent findings using mouse models for cancer (Lam et al. Cancer Research, 2014).
Qualified applicants should have a PhD degree and strong background in immunology and/or oncology. Experience in mouse research is an advantage. The successful candidates are expected to integrate cross-disciplinary and translational approaches at the interface between academic and clinical research. The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and will be required to train and assist other members of the team. You will join a dynamic and well-equipped laboratory situated within the Immunology Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, which houses state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Salary is from S$65,000-75,000 per annum (approx. US$44,500-51,000).
