A Postodoctoral Fellow/Scientist position in Alzheimer’s disease research is available at Department of Psychiatry and Department of Pharmacology, Boston University School of Medicine, to search for effective therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, and to study the relationship between depression, type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. The job will be conducted at laboratory and at clinic by using both mice and human samples. The candidate must have strong publications, experiences on the bench work including cell and molecular technologies, and good communication skills. Experiences in drawing blood and brain surgery on mice, strong molecular biology and genetics are preferred. The candidate will join a dynamic research team and will have the opportunity to do translational research in the Alzheimer’s field.
Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D or a MD, who focuses on research. This position will be one to two years, and thus we prefer to have candidates who already live in the New England area.
