The Huffington Center on Aging at the Baylor College of Medicine is seeking enthusiastic candidates for a postdoc position on computational analysis of aging epigenomics. The primary project for this position is to use computational techniques and statistical analyses to examine and discover epigenomic and proteomic changes during aging. Typical high-throughput bioinformatics data include, but are not limited to, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Barcode-seq, and quantitative proteomics.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in bioinformatics programming and analysis, as well as good working knowledge on molecular biology, molecular genetics and genomics. Candidates with strong interests and knowledge in biology are preferred. Experience on analyzing next-gen sequencing data is required. At least one first-authored publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
