The lab of Prof Tony Kouzarides is looking for 2 postdoctoral scientists to work on different aspects of research within the lab, funded by a Cancer Research UK grant. The lab is in the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute, a department of the University of Cambridge. Funding will initially be for a minimum of 3 years.
The first postdoc will work on Chromatin regulation in yeast. In particular, the ideal candidate would have experience in transcription chromatin dynamics and histone modifying pathways. A good grounding in biochemistry would be an advantage.
The second vacancy is for a postdoctoral scientist to work on Epigenetic regulation in mammalian cells. In particular the ideal candidate would have experience in chromatin regulation, transcriptional control, protein kinases and would be versed with genetic manipulation in mice.
Limited funding: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
