A postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Pulmonary Immunology to study the PK/PD of the anti-tuberculosis drugs as well as immune response to M. tuberculosis infection. Applicants must have a strong background in microbiology and immunology. Prior experience of working with M. tuberculosis and small animal model is desirable. Hands-on experience in drug screening studies, DNA/RNA sequencing data analysis and multicolor flow cytometry is essential for this position. The selected candidate will use the EMA approved and FDA endorsed state-of-the-art hollow fiber model of tuberculosis, cellular and molecular imaging facility and next generation sequencing for the project.
