　　If you are planning a trip abroad in order to pursue a Visiting Scholar or Post-Doc Position,  it is always a good idea to get some cash of the currency of the country you are planning to visit.

　　Why do you need to exchange currencies?

　　1. You won't always be able to rely on your credit card or mobile payment, as cash is often needed for smaller purchases, such as paying tips and taxi rides.

　　·         Use your own debit/credit card to withdraw the local currency in a foreign country.

　　·         Better used only for emergencies.
