We seek an exceptional candidate to take advantage of emerging tools for non-invasive monitoring of human immune responses. The successful applicant will perform and analyze fluorescence and mass cytometric flow cytometry of human blood lymphocytes responding to infection, immunization and autoimmune inflammation; develop tools to monitor tissue-specific (e.g. intestinal, respiratory, cutaneous) immune responses in patient blood samples; evaluate clonal distribution of trafficking programs by single cell PCR of antigen receptors on defined subsets; and probe the significance and mechanisms of imprinting of lymphocyte trafficking programs. He or she will apply existing and novel informatics and statistical tools and programs to mine and interpret high dimensional cytometry data. Exceptional individuals with strong writing and communication skills, a desire to publish, a record of productivity, and with relevant experience in flow cytometry, immunology and bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.
