Postdoctoral position in Preparation of templated cellulose based material : Gothenburg, Sweden

Full-time temporary employment. The position is limited to a maximum of 12 months.
 

Description

The main aim of this postdoctoral project is to develop new materials for controlled mass transport properties. As a post-doc, you will be in charge of the experimental development of a robust methodology for producing templated materials based on cellulose. During the development of the project you will interact with some of the other partners of the consortium. You are also expected to enable proper dissimination of your work within the consortium and the scientific community. The development of cellulose based materials with mass transport properties constitutes the core question of this position. To this end, the researcher will develop a methodology based on template assisted techniques to control the properties of the material. One key feature will be the understanding of the interactions of the cellulose based material with water.
