Postdoctoral Fellow - Bioinformatics (15-0025)

The West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC) seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow-Bioinformatics in support of the Neuro-Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratory (NERL) at West Virginia University. This position will plan and direct experimental and computational studies in human sensorimotor control and develop new rehabilitation methods. Position will include setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment, conducting experiments, analysis of complex data, and writing of manuscripts for publication and grant applications. Work will be both data and analysis-intensive, it will require accurate tracking of all lab records and excellent time-management skills.

A PhD in bioinformatics, neuroscience or a related STEM discipline, and experience in a lab conducting neurological research are required. Human neurophysiology research experience and experience with advanced signal processing algorithms is preferred.
