A position for a Postdoctoral Fellow is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Sujata Rao at Cleveland Clinic. Current projects include understanding molecular mechanisms of light regulated eye development and circadian regulation of angiogenesis. Our laboratory is interested in candidates who have a strong interest in neuroscience and vascular biology. Experience with mouse genetics, immunohistochemistry and molecular biology is desired. We are looking for highly motivated and goal oriented people. Interested candidates must have at least one first authored paper in a peer reviewed journal. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or be in defense of thesis at the time of application, and demonstrate proficiency in English speaking and writing skills. Candidates will be expected to design and conduct experiments, analyze data and write manuscripts.
