英国医学研究委员会MRC临床科学中心招聘三年期博士后
MRC Postdoctoral Scientist
Fixed Term for 3 Years
Salary from: £33,377 per annum plus allowances
Telomere Replication and Stability group
London, UK
Applications are invited for a 3-year MRC Postdoctoral Scientist research position in the Telomere Replication and Stability group at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre (CSC) at the Hammersmith Hospital campus of Imperial College London. The CSC provides an outstanding environment for interdisciplinary research with excellent core support. For a description of the institute and details of core facilities, visit www.csc.mrc.ac.uk.
The Telomere Replication and Stability group is headed by Dr Jean-Baptiste Vannier in the Epigenetics section of the CSC. The objective of the group is to study the molecular dynamics of DNA secondary structures during mammalian DNA replication. Our aim is to understand the mechanisms that facilitate DNA replication at hard to replicate loci, including telomeres, which will lead to an outstanding description of how telomeric structures affect replication progression, genome stability and cancer predisposition.
