A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately at the Molecular and Cellular Immunoregulation Unit (MCIU), Laboratory of Immunology, NIAID, to investigate the induction and functions of regulatory T cell (Treg) and/or Th17 related inflammatory CD4 T subsets. Our research focus is transcriptional regulation of CD4 T helper (Th) differentiation and innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) development. We utilize genome wide analysis such as RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq, and various mouse models including multi-color "reporter", fate-mapping and conditional knockout strains to study Th and ILC subsets in the steady state and/or in infectious, allergic and autoimmune disease settings.

We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. The candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree but less than 5 years postdoc experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge in immunology and in vivo animal models. Previous experience in molecular and cellular biology is essential. Underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
