The group investigates underlying mechanisms that control colorectal cancer progression and metastasis in the levels of both transcription and translation. We particularly focus on understanding regulatory pathways and gene function and targeting these with new therapeutics. For more information, see examples of recent research: Cancer Cell, 18:39-51, 2010; Oncogene, 33:1828-39, 2014; Oncotarget, 5:6015-27, 2014; and the web page: http://pharmacology.med.uky.edu/users/sqi223.
