Job Description
The Center of Biomolecular Therapeutics (CBT) at The University of Maryland School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral fellow in Baltimore, MD. This position requires working in an environment with groups of scientists whose goal it is to do basic research as well as work on projects aimed at discovering/developing therapeutics. The position requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology, or a closely related discipline. The successful candidate should have significant training in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology including immunoblotting and light/fluorescence microscopy. Experience with RT-PCR, assay development, high-throughput drug screening, protein chemistry techniques including SDS-PAGE, protein purification, immunoprecipitations, and pull down assays is also desirable.
