英国利兹大学招聘食品科学方向博士后
Fixed term for 12 months
You will contribute to research on an ongoing project within the CDR on consumers’ perceptions of, and responses to, communications about food risks, nutrition and food waste.
You will be part of a team that includes Dr Nicola Bown, Dr Gulbanu Kaptan and Professor Wändi Bruine de Bruin, as well as collaborators at the Leeds University Business School, Centre for Decision Research, and other academic and practitioner institutions. We are interested in understanding people’s decisions about food safety, food waste, and nutrition as well as in designing communication strategies for better informing those decisions. Our project entails multi-method research approaches, including interviews, focus groups, surveys and experiments. Among other things, the postdoc will be given responsibilities for designing and conducting studies as well as data management and analysis. You will also help organise inter-disciplinary seminars and events related to the project. We especially invite individuals with a PhD in behavioural decision making, food-related social science, environmental science, psychology, marketing, or related disciplines to apply.
