Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Chemical Biology
Grade 07S: Range: £30,434 – £34,233 per annum

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work under the supervision of Professor Hagan Bayley for a fixed-term period of 1 year in the first instance. The project involves fundamental investigations of new types of molecules and their mechanisms of actions as nanotransporters. The work will require experience in single molecule chemistry including ion channel and pore technology, and skills in biochemical and molecular biological techniques.

Applicants should either already have a PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Physics or a related area (or have submitted a PhD thesis prior to taking up the appointment).

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
