Seeking highly motivated, self-starter, Senior Post-doctoral Fellow/Post-doctoral Fellow or Staff Scientist with the ability to work with optimal resources and little direct supervision to address important questions of vaccination response. Join my lab and explore how the protective immune responses to the anthrax or influenza vaccination is developed and maintained. The successful candidate will participate in one or more of the following aspects of our research: roles of avidity, specificity, and isotype of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies generated from anthrax vaccination in neutralization of toxin; demographic and serological markers of adverse reactions to vaccination; effects of self-reactive antibodies on protection from anthrax infections and other related experiments to determine protective mechanisms of human vaccination responses.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD, or PhD/MD. Previous experience in basic human immunology is required. Good written skills necessary. Ability to communicate and write summaries of results required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous post-doctoral experience preferred. Ideally would have at least two publications with one or more first author, peer-reviewed, English manuscripts in human immunology. Previous experience with flow cytometry and cellular immunology is preferred. Basic molecular biology experience is a plus.
