加拿大曼尼托巴大学突触可塑性和记忆功能障碍博士后职位
A junior postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Laboratory of Synaptic Plasticity and Memory Dysfunction, St. Boniface Hospital Research, Winnipeg (Canada) under Dr. Ben Albensi’s supervision (www.sbrc.ca/DND).
Dr. Albensi’s research is focused on understanding basic processes of synaptic plasticity and memory and also identifying and targeting biological mechanisms associated with memory impairment. Memory impairment can be a result of aging, brain injury (stroke, head trauma), genetic predispositions, and/or from a disease state, such as, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, and diabetes, etc. We have several animal models and transgenic strains to simulate these conditions. Our division is also well equipped with instrumentation for probing mechanisms associated with these conditions. A major facet or our work involves memory impairment in Alzheimer’s disease.
