Job Description

Applications are invited for two (2) post-doctoral positions in Molecular Oncology at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research-McGill University, Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, Canada. The research programs deal with the role of eIF2alpha phosphorylation pathway in mRNA translation and regulation of tumorigenesis in mouse models of cancer (e.g. lung, breast, CML). Individuals with demonstrated skills in molecular and cellular biology as well as very strong expertise in transgenic mouse work are encouraged to apply. The positions are initially for 1 year and renewable for additional 2 years based on creativity, productivity and commitment to basic research. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience in research.
