Postdoctoral position in signal transduction
Immunology and Infectious diseases Unit, GIGA-Research, Liège University, Belgium.
A 3 years postdoctoral position is available in the Immunology and Infectious Diseases Unit and Unit of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and GIGA-R (Starting immediately)
Applicant will be invited to work on the role of the dual-specificity phosphatase DUSP3/VHR in platelets biology. The project will involve working on mice models as well as human samples.
The candidate will join the newly established GIGA-R located in Liège University hospital. The state-of-the-art facilities of GIGA-R include an operational SFP transgenic animal facility, and in-house core facilities for bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, imaging, immunohistology and viral vectors.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, cell biology or equivalent and are expected to have a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, to be highly motivated, creative and capable of contributing productively in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in animal models and/or platelets biology. The position is available for 3 years.
