The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Westminster invites applications for this post, which will be of two-years' duration in the first instance. The Department of Social and Historical Studies is one of six departments in the Faculty and this new post reflects the Faculty’s commitment to the continuous development of its teaching and research excellence. The Criminology team at Westminster runs an established and successful undergraduate programme and now wishes to further enhance its portfolio and in particular, its research profile.

Applicants should have a good first degree and a PhD in Criminology or a related field and teaching experience at degree level, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality research. We would like to hear from outstanding candidates with a broad knowledge and experience of their discipline and are particularly interested in those who have an ability to teach both quantitative and qualitative research methods, criminological psychology and/or penal policy.
