新加坡分子肿瘤研究所分子生物学或生物化学方向博士后职位
The IFOM-p53Lab Joint Research Laboratory is a new initiative established by the Italian FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology (IFOM) and the Agency for Science and Technology of Singapore (A*STAR). The IFOM-p53Lab Joint Research Laboratory will serve as a key platform for scientific exchange and interactions between IFOM and A*STAR, offering postdoctoral fellows a unique opportunity to work with key scientists from both the IFOM and A*STAR campuses. The lab is located in A*STAR Biopolis in Singapore. The activities of the IFOM-p53Lab Joint Research Laboratory will focus on identifying novel targeted therapies against cancer.
The successful candidate will develop new tools to identify synthetic lethal pathways in tumor cells with compromised DNA repair signaling pathways. Promising anticancer targets should be further characterized using in vivo mouse models.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals, to lead projects and develop new experimental approaches. Applicants should hold a PhD in molecular & cellular biology or biochemistry and preferably have some experience with in vivo mouse xenograft models. The applicant must have a solid background in experimental research, particularly in molecular and cellular biology, a proven track record of outstanding scientific publications and a strong interest in molecular medicine and cancer target validation approaches. Candidates need to be highly organized and focused and be able to co-operate with other members of the research team. Excellent communication skills are required.
The terms of employment are initially for 3 years, and salary for the position will be negotiated based on the qualities and the relevant experience of the candidate.
