The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science is seeking a candidate for the assistant professor-postdoc position. The position will be funded from the National Center of Science grant Maestro: “Real analytic functions and differential operators” managed by prof. dr hab. Paweł Domański – this is a research position without didactics duties. Period of employment from 1.10.2014 for two years with option for prolongation for up to two next years. We expect that the employed person will make an intensive research in the project devoted to linear operators (also differential) on spaces of smooth and real analytic functions as well collaborate with the team. Description

For the position of assistant professor may apply a person meeting the requirements of art.109 of the Act of 27 July 2005 Law on Higher Education (Dz. U. No 164, pos. 1365 with subsequent amendments) and § 118 Section 2 of the Statute of the AMU dn. 19 June 2000. Requirements for the candidates: 1. PhD diploma degree in mathematical science in the field of mathematics obtained not earlier than in 2009. A candidate might apply for the position also if presents the PhD dissertation with two reviews (received within the PhD procedure) before the 13th of June 2014. The certified Ph. D. document must be submitted prior to beginning of the position. 2. Very good research achievements (results, publications, conference presentations) 3. Candidates familiar with the subjects close to the grant topic, in particular, with an experience in functional analysis, complex analysis, differential equations will be preferred. 4. Very good command of English. No 133, pos. 883, as amended, 2. a personal questionnaire (contact data, phone, mail), 3. a full scientific Curriculum Vitae, 4. publication record with a short description of obtained results and fields of interest, 5. a statement that Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan will be the unique place of employment, 6. two letters of recommendation from the PhD supervisor or a university professor.
