摘要:
A postdoctoral position is available, for a qualified and creative scientist, with excellent statistical analysis, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff. We highly value self-motivation and independence.

The position will be based in the Brain Dynamics Center in Sydney and also be part of a collaboration with the Personalized Applied Neuroscience Lab at Stanford.

This is an atypical position in the sense that the fellowship funding is available to focus on outcomes from existing datasets. It is an opportunity to generate high quality publications rapidly, and to drive the thinking and design for new research to extend on findings from the existing data. The existing datasets are a unique resource spanning
1. Data from a biomarker trial of non-stimulant treatment in 120 children and adolescents with ADHD and anxiety: clinical measures, behavioral data from cognitive and emotional tests, resting EEG and ERPs and autonomic measures recorded during cognitive and emotional tasks.
2. Data from a new multisite biomarker trial of stimulants, which includes the same, measures as in dataset 1, but also imaging and genetics.
The Brain Dynamics Center and Personalized Applied Neuroscience lab focus on the development and testing of behavioral and imaging strategies that can be readily translated into the clinic, for improved patient care.
The successful candidate will work under the mentorship of a multidisciplinary faculty team: Dr Mayuresh Korgaonkar (Director, Brain Dynamics Center and on faculty at Sydney Medical School), Drs Simon Clark and Michael Kohn (Heads of adolescent medicine within the Brain Dynamics Center, on faculty at Sydney Medical School and clinical pediatrician specialists), and Dr Leanne Williams (Head of the Personalized Applied Neuroscience Lab at Stanford).
Because of this collaborative environment there will be an opportunity to spend time at Stanford over the period of the fellowship.

The candidate must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience or related fields. The position requires:
1. Profound experience in statistical analysis and analytic models using multiple types of data.
2. A demonstrated capacity to drive first author publications.
3. A clear interest and motivation to pursue research that integrates cognitive/affective neuroscience with ADHD and anxiety.
Hands on experience in the data available for this fellowship is advantageous but not a requirement.

The Brain Dynamics Center is part of the Westmead Millennium Institute and Salary is based on WMI guidelines for postdoctoral fellows, and will be commensurate with experience. WMI is an equal opportunity employer.
