摘要:
Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Vascular Anomalies Basic Research Group at Columbia University Medical Center to study the molecular causes and therapeutic treatment of infantile hemangioma and lymphatic anomalies. Experience with mouse xenograft modeling and use of genetically engineered mice preferred. Individuals with a background in angiogenesis/lymphangiogenesis, tumor biology, inflammation, or signal transduction will be considered. Projects use protein specific inhibitors and gene specific knockdowns to target vascular anomaly progenitor and endothelial cells, as well as the microenvironment. Project involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team and basic researchers. Position requires excellent organizational skills and research independence.
