This research post is funded by an EU FP7 research project in the area of environmental particle sensing. Your main responsibilities are the carrying out of specific tasks and deliverables, preparation of oral presentations, and the preparation of regular progress reports.

You will have a background in instrumentation, sensors, ideally gas or chemical sensing technologies. Knowledge of electronic design tools such as Multisim, NI Labview, Tanner Tooles, Cadence and VHDL, is advantageous.

You will ideally have a PhD, or equivalent, in electrical or electronic engineering, or applied physics with knowledge of sensor technology, or alternatively post-doctoral experience in the area of sensors/MEMS in general and chemical sensing in particular.
