美国艾伯特爱因斯坦医学院免疫学和癌症研究招收博士后
Immunology Cancer Research Fellow : Bronx, NY, United States
A postdoctoral position is available in the new laboratory of Dr. David Fooksman at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. The laboratory is focused on the physiology of normal plasma cells, which is critical for antibody production and long-lived immunity. We are also interested in the malignant plasma cells that arise in patients with Multiple Myeloma and other plasmacytomas. Our approach is to combine intravital two-photon imaging with molecular and cellular immunology to visualize and manipulate these cells in vivo to better understand their regulation and function under normal and pathological conditions. Several cutting-edge projects are available based on candidate interest and skills.
Candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a strong background in immunology, or cancer research, or related fields. Skills in hands-on mouse work including surgery, cellular and molecular immunology, advanced fluorescence imaging, biochemistry, molecular biology, multiparameter flow cytometry, gene expression analysis, quantitative analysis would be useful. We are looking for scientists that are highly motivated, analytical, creative, earnest, who can work both independently as well as collaboratively, with good communication and interpersonal skills to complement the group.
If you are interested, please send: i) a cover letter briefly summarizing your research experience, interests and goals, ii) your CV, and iii) a list of 3 references, to fooksmanlab@gmail.com. The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all interested and qualified scientists….
