Post-Doctoral position in biomaterials, immune-engineering and cancer at Cornell University : Ithaca, NY, United States
A 2-year post-doctoral position on an NIH-funded project to engineer innovative biomaterials for control of cellular microenvironments for cancer is available beginning as early as June 2014 at Cornell University, an Ivy League institution located in beautiful city of Ithaca, NY.
The candidate must have a recent PhD in Bioengineering/Biomedical engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a related discipline. The candidate must have strong research experience and training in biomaterials for tissue engineering, cell culture and related techniques. Any experience in flow cytometry and imaging cell-biomaterials using multiple modalities especially confocal microscopy is desirable.
The project is in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, New York City and the candidate will have a unique opportunity to work with a leading group of oncologists at the medical school.
