An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Department of Oncology. You will join Dr Vincenzo D’Angiolella’s research team, which focuses on the mechanisms of maintenance of genome stability
You will undertake state-of-the-art molecular, cell biological and biochemical techniques in order to explore the role of E3 ubiquitin ligases in cancer development and radiotherapy response. You will be involved in a system based approach to identify the genes that lead to genome instability in mammalian cells, and ultimately cancer.
You will have a PhD in a relevant subject, as well as a peer-reviewed first author publication. You will also have relevant experience in biomedical research, preferably in cancer biology and metabolism of nucleic acids, including DNA damage response.
This is a full-time post and is available until 31 March 2017.
