Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Edman Tsang on a research project funded by SCG Chemical Ltd for a period of 12 months. The project involves synthesis, characterisation and testing of new nano-catalysts for small alkane molecules conversions.

Applicants should either already have a PhD in Chemistry or relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up the post. Expertise in solid state synthesis and state-of-the-art characterisation techniques including TEM, XPS, AFM is essential. Be willing to learn new techniques in transient kinetic analysis techniques.

The post will be based in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QR.
