丹麦奥胡斯大学化学、纳米科学、材料学方向博士后职位

A postdoctoral position starting October 1st, 2014 (or as soon as possible thereafter) is available at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) and the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, Denmark. The position is for 18 months.

The candidate should have a PhD in chemistry, nanoscience, materials science or chemical engineering and a background in adhesives, polymer chemistry, hydrogel science or bioinspired materials chemistry with the ideal candidate having several of these competences. The candidate will be part of a larger project focused on development and tests of catechol functionalized multifunctional hydrogel materials.

The candidate will be affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) (www.inano.au.dk) and the Department of Chemistry (www.chem.au.dk). iNANO is a major research and education center based at Aarhus University. iNANO currently undertakes interdisciplinary research involving scientists from relevant areas in physics, chemistry, molecular biology, biology, engineering, and medicine. iNANO offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment with many industrial, national and international collaborators.

Formalities and salary range

Science and Technology refers to the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Danish Universities under the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Confederation of Professional Unions.
