Postdoc position. PROJECT: ABC4EU FP7 European Project: Enhancing the workflow and functionalities of Automated Border Control (ABC) Gates – Integration Project

Description

PhD or similar experience in computer science is required. You will have the opportunity to work in a high-quality project with industrial partners and international institutions. Candidates need a solid grasp of the English language to competently communicate with the research team and publish research results. Spanish is not required but it will be considered. Duration of contract: 3 years (annual contract renovation). Salary: €2100-2500 € per month gross (14 annual payments), depending candidate experience. Offering period: until filling vacant positions (maximum july 2014). We are looking for a very creative and highly motivated researcher on computer vision-related projects. The candidate will join our research team on face recognition and verification problems. More specifically, his/her main tasks and responsibilities will be: • Research on antispoofing, mobile biometrics, multibiometrics and usability which may include feature extraction, supervised classification, data fusion, face and finger print recognition etc.• Software development, including implementation of C++ libraries and code testing, validation and documentation. • Reporting on research results
