Job description:

You will join our team of the research group “Materials for Spectral Conversion” working on solar-driven degradation of micropollutants in water by novel photocatalytic polymer membranes with an active porphyrin surface layer. Your tasks include:

Coating commercially available micro- and ultrafiltration membranes with porphyrins and phthalocyanines and characterizing their photocatalytic activity with respect to the degradation of trace hormones.

Characterization of new photocatalytic membranes with methods of optical spectroscopy, XRD, TGA, Raman/FTIR, electron microscopy, etc.

Determination of the photodegradation mechanisms of the adsorbed porphyrins and phthalocyanines.

Publication of research results in scientific journals and at conferences.
