Postdoc of quantum photonics and quantum training
Copenhagen University
The Niels Bohr Institute seeks a Post Doc candidate within quantum photonics for a position involving research with quantum photonics as well as development of new forms of quantum training.
The successful candidate will be a part of the Photonic Platform Integration team at the Novo Nordisk Quantum Computing Programme, which specialises in the research and development of quantum photonic components for future fault tolerant quantum computing processors. The team develop architectures for quantum photonic integrated circuits consisting of components such as single photon emitters, waveguides, couplers and detectors.
In addition to the wide range of quantum photonics research at the Niels Bohr Institute we are establishing a new Center for Educational Quantum Advantage. The core of the educational center is a new quantum technology training laboratory, with the same level of state-of-the-art infrastructure as the research laboratories. The successful Post Doc candidate will develop, build- up and organise the photonics part of this quantum training lab in close collaboration with professors across the Niels Bohr Institute. The candidate is expected to share time equally between photonics research and quantum training activities.
The postdoc's duties will include research within the field of quantum photonics as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.
