密歇根州立大学分子生物学方向博士后职位招聘
An NIH funded postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Chen Chen at Michigan State University. The Chen lab studies the biology of small noncoding RNAs in germ cell development using molecular, biochemical, genomics and proteomics approaches as well as CRISPR/Cas9 knockout mouse models. Current projects focus on the piRNA pathway in germline genome regulation and development. Related publications: Ding D et al. Nature Communications 2017; Ding D et al. The Chen laboratory is located in a brand new cutting-edge research building with outstanding research environment and will investigate the mechanism and functional significance of small RNA pathway in germ cells. Proposed studies will investigate protein-RNA and protein-protein interactions and macromolecular complex formation of small RNA biogenesis machinery in cells and animal models. The projects have important implications in mechanisms underlying human diseases.
The successful candidate should hold a recent Ph.D. in biological sciences with a research background in biochemistry, molecular cell biology, genetics or developmental biology. Preference will be given to applicants with strong research experience in one of areas in RNA biology, protein-RNA interactions, protein chemistry and structural biology, genomics and bioinformatics, and molecular biology.
